The Series 3 Jaguar E-Type, produced from 1971until 1974, was designed to conform to increasingly stringent USsafety standards. It can be identified by the large cross-slattedfront grille and flared wheel arches. Powered by a 326 cubic-inchV-12 engine with massive torque and incredible acceleration, itstop speed is somewhere around 150 miles per hour. The engine issupported by a square tube frame structure fused to the firewall ofthe monocoque shell. This Jaguar features four-wheel independentsuspension with two coil springs in front and four in back,rack-and-pinion steering, and four-wheel power-assisted discbrakes. Our car has factory-fitted AC, optional chrome wire wheels,and the highly desirable 4-speed manual gearbox. The car is alsofitted with a Sony AM/FM/Cassette stereo system.
